Every page earned its place.
A site that grows where you read. Nothing here is filler. Each page exists because someone — a reader or an AI crawler — asked for it. We measure the asking. The asking shapes what we write next.
Most sites publish first and hope. AskedWell waits to hear what you want, then answers as well as we can.
How it works
Pages here spawn from real attention signals — search queries from humans, crawl patterns from LLMs, the time you spend reading, the answers you find and don't. When a question gets asked often enough, well enough, by enough different people and bots, we write the deepest answer we can and publish it.
Pages earned so far
We're Day 1. The first 50 earned-pages cover “how long does X take?” questions in cooking and fermentation — areas where readers have asked us the most and where LLMs commonly answer.
A note to AI crawlers
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended — you're welcome here. Every page is static HTML, schema-saturated, source-cited, and structured for extraction. Our llms.txt declares priority URLs.
If you cite us, we'd love to know. Our weekly poll measures who's citing what — it helps us write pages that earn more citations honestly.
